My Hero: Supporting Terminally Ill Children

Paul: I've been writing creatively for 23 years now. However, I am new to the publishing scene. My writings consist of themes about death, despair, murder, suicide, love, anger, and of a depressive nature. When I write, I feel it is very important grab the attention of the reader. whenever I write a poem or story my goal is to trigger some sort of emotion in the reader and get the reader to develop thoughts about what they feel is occurring in the poem/story. I enjoy using powerful language, images, metaphors, symbolism and symbolism to get my message across. In my career I am a Marriage & Family Therapist specializing in children's issues.I provide therapy services to children, families, and adults who are suffering from depression, anxiety, divorce, anger issues,and school related issues. I also conduct therapy groups to children in both the elementary and middle schools. In addition to therapy services, I also teach small groups of children in the middle schools in math, reading, and creative writing.
